Xinjiang, as a core area for national energy security and a key hub of the "Belt and Road" Initiative, possesses 50% of the nation's newly added oil and gas reserves and a trillion-yuan-level energy and chemical industry layout. The 2027 Xinjiang International Chemical Technology and Equipment Fair (CTEF Xinjiang 2027) will be held from 15-17, July 2027 at the Xinjiang International Convention and Exhibition Center. Concurrent events include the 2026 Xinjiang International Petroleum and Chemical Technology & Equipment Exhibition, the Silk Road Mining Cooperation Forum, the 17th China Xinjiang International Mining & Equipment Expo, and the 22st China Xinjiang International Coal Industry Expo. The exhibition area is expected to reach 40,000 square meters, bringing together over 500 global companies and leading enterprises such as CNPC, Sinopec, and CNOOC. It is expected to attract over 30,000 professional visitors from 14 countries in the core area of the Belt and Road Initiative, forming a platform covering the entire industrial chain of oil and petrochemicals, natural gas, oil and gas pipeline transportation, coal chemicals, salt chemicals, chlor-alkali chemicals, and fertilizers in Northwest China. It will help companies seize the Northwest energy equipment market and open up international channels to Central Asia.
